Skytrax: Royal Air Maroc has received its 4th star
On the 16th June, Royal Air Maroc, on the sidelines of the Paris Air Show, was awarded the 4 star Skytrax label, from an organisation known worldwide for its audits and assessments of the level of services in the different aviation sectors. The award was presented to the President of the national company, Driss Benhima, by the president of this International organisation, Mr. Edward Plaisted.
This consecration took place just one year after the same body granted Royal Air Maroc its 3 star Skytrax award. This recognises the major efforts made in recent months by the national carrier to enhance the level and quality of its services in record time. This distinction has propelled Royal Air Maroc into the spearhead of major International companies in the African continent.
Coveted by airlines, the Skytrax award is a worldwide reference in the airline industry. Based in London, Skytrax is a globally reputable body for its thorough investigations, scientific and objective rankings, that result in discriminating between the quality of services and benefits among airlines. Its awards are a kind of barometer of excellence in the airline industry.
"The passage from 3 to 4 stars in just one year and the recognition of the quality of our products and services by an organisation as well-known as Skytrax, clearly illustrates the progress that we have made in the last two years," emphasised Driss Benhima. With this in mind, the President of Royal Air Maroc extended his thanks to "our passengers for their choice to support the company and put their trust in it." He also paid tribute to the personnel for their efforts, commitment and dedication to improving the quality of service. Mr. Benhima is not stopping there however, emphasising that now, "the challenge is not only to maintain this level and this status but to continue striving to improve the quality of our services and products."
