We make every effort to ensure that your baggage arrives at your destination without any issues. However, for reasons beyond our control, baggage may occasionally be delayed or arrive damaged. In such cases, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and will do our best to resolve the situation.
If your baggage is damaged, here is what you should do:

Are you still at the airport?

Please go to the Baggage Assistance counter at your arrival airport to report damage and complete a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).

Have you left the airport?

You have 7 days from the date of arrival / date of baggage delivery to report the damage by returning to the airport with the damaged baggage and/or submitting a written claim to Royal Air Maroc.

You will receive a confirmation email with your case reference once your claim is submitted.

To complete your case, the following documents will be requested by our team via a dedicated link:

  • Property Irregularity Report (PIR) issued at the airport upon arrival
  • Baggage identification tag
  • Detailed, itemized and valued inventory list of missing items, including the value of each item, along with purchase receipts for the listed items
  • Bank account details

If the contents of your baggage are damaged

  • Baggage Damage Report (DPR) issued at the airport upon arrival
  • Baggage identification tag
  • Detailed, itemized and valued inventory list of the damaged items, along with purchase receipts or cleaning / repair invoice where applicable
