How long does it take to purchase a ticket online?
You can buy your ticket online up until the day of departure. However, online purchase is not available on the day of departure for some destinations.

Can a Safar Flyer member benefit from other Awards (upgrade, excess luggage allowance) on oneworld airline flights ?
No. A Safar Flyer member is not eligible for the upgrade and excess luggage allowance awards on oneworld airline flights .
He will be able to take advantage of award tickets with all oneworld member airlines. -
Can a Safar flyer member offer award tickets with oneworld partner airlines to the person of his or her choice?
Yes. It is possible for a Safar Flyer member to offer Award tickets from oneworld partners to the person of his or her choice according to the terms and conditions of the Safar Flyer program. -
What are the advantages offered by Safar Flyer partners?
With Safar Flyer partners, you can earn Safar Flyer miles with each transaction and redeem them with our airline, hotel, car rental partner companies and Royal Air Maroc. If a Safar Flyer member travels with a oneworldairline, can he or she benefit from the advantages of his or her card on this flight before he or she has received his or her physical card?
The Safar Flyer member will receive a digital card that will allow him/her to benefit from all oneworld advantages when traveling with one of the alliance's airlines. The member should remember to update his email address on his online account. -
Can a Safar Flyer member transfer his miles to different oneworld airline loyalty programs or keep his miles on his Safar Flyer account?
It is not possible to transfer a member's Safar Flyer miles to another partner airline's frequent flyer account.
All requests concerning partner airlines are handled at the level of the member's Safar Flyer account. -
What is the procedure for acquiring awards for a flight from a partner airline?
The award ticket is issued at the Royal Air Maroc agency. The steps involved in purchasing an award ticket from a oneworld company are as follows:
• Step 1: Booking of the desired route at the agency or call center
• Step 2: Formulation of the request for an Award ticket by the member during his private online session or by filling in the form at the agency
• Step 3: Payment of taxes and ticketing at the agency or call center -
Can the Safar Flyer member benefit from an award ticket with a oneworld airline company of which he or she is not a member of its loyalty program?
Yes. It is possible for a Safar Flyer member to purchase award tickets on all flights of oneworld's partner airlines, even if they are not a member of their loyalty program. Simply apply for an award ticket with one of oneworld's airlines by logging in to the online Safar Flyer under award application. He must have previously made his booking via the call center or at the Royal Air Maroc agency. -
Is it possible to book RAM Award tickets on the oneworld website?
No. It is not possible to book Royal Air Maroc award tickets on the oneworld website. The Safar Flyer member can make the booking of his award tickets via the Royal Air Maroc call center or at a Royal Air Maroc agency. The website oneworld presents only the benefits by card status. -
If a member has a Platinum Safar Flyer card and another card from a oneworld member airline loyalty program, can he or she receive 2 pieces of excess luggage?
The benefits of the various loyalty programs of oneworld member airlines cannot be cumulated. Platinum card status is equivalent to Emerald status, which entitles the member to one piece of excess luggage on all oneworld partner flights.
1- As an Emerald frequent flyer, the following luggage allowances will apply when you travel with an oneworld airline:
a. On routes using the “by weight” luggage allowance system: 20 kg in addition to the cabin allowance authorized by your ticket
b. On routes using the “piece” luggage allowance system: an additional luggage item is possible free of charge in addition to the luggage allowance allowed by your ticket. -

How to accumulate miles with Safar Flyer partners?
Simply present your Safar Flyer card number for each transaction with one of our partners. (The miles counted on the Safar Flyer account cannot be requested simultaneously on another partner loyalty program.) -
How to register a flight made with a Royal Air Maroc airline partner?
To do so, go to your online Safar Flyer account at the bottom of the page under the heading « Register your flight » to enter the data of your flight (Ticket number, date of flight, origin / destination and flight number) and select the partner airline. To guarantee this registration, please also send an email to: If you are Blue: safarflyer@royalairmaroc.com If you are Silver, Gold: silvergold@royalairmaroc.com Partner flight registration can take up to 4 weeks. -
Can a Safar Flyer member use as many award tickets as he or she wants with oneworld airlines?
Yes. A Safar Flyer member can use as many award tickets as he or she wishes with oneworld airlines, depending on the availability of seats for a given flight and the number of miles he or she has accumulated
Baggage

My baggage was damaged upon arrival. How can I submit a claim ?
Any damaged baggage must be reported at the airport or via the Royal Air Maroc online form within 7 days from the date you received your baggage.

Where can I purchase additional baggage with Royal Air Maroc ?
You can purchase additional baggage online (via the Royal Air Maroc website) up to 24 hours before departure.
If your baggage exceeds the allowed allowance at the airport, you may also pay the excess baggage fee directly at the check-in counter.

What expenses are reimbursable in case of delayed baggage delivery ?
If your baggage is delivered late, you may request reimbursement for essential purchases (toiletries, clothing) and reasonable communication expenses. Transport and accommodation costs may also be covered if the baggage is not delivered to your address.
For residents at destination, only transport expenses may be reimbursed if the baggage is not delivered to your address.
Please note: All claims must be supported by receipts. Depending on the type of expense, specific reimbursement rates may apply (typically between 50% and 100%).

What should I do if my baggage is still not found after 21 days ?
If your baggage is not found after 21 days, it is considered lost. You may then submit a claim for compensation.

How can I track the status of my delayed baggage ?
Royal Air Maroc allows you to track the progress of your file using the WorldTracer tool with your PIR number.

If I place my camera in checked baggage, will it be covered by Royal Air Maroc liability ?
Under applicable regulations, Royal Air Maroc does not assume liability for valuable items such as money, jewelry, cameras, or similar items placed in checked or unchecked baggage.

How do I report my baggage if it has not arrived at my destination ?
You must report your missing baggage immediately to the Baggage Assistance desk at your arrival airport in order to obtain a file reference number (PIR).
Please keep all receipts if you had to purchase essential items while waiting.

Can I carry perishable items in my baggage ?
Please note that the carrier is not liable for certain items, including perishables (shellfish, fish, seafood, etc.), fragile items, securities, jewelry, medication, and similar goods. These items should be carried in your hand baggage.
Baggage containing perishable goods may be subject to destruction by airport authorities in accordance with applicable regulations, without the carrier’s liability.

I bought additional services (seat selection, lounge, extra baggage, etc.). My flight is cancelled: am I entitled to a refund?

How can I check the status of my flight?

How will I be informed if my flight is cancelled?

How do I redeem my miles?
To convert your miles into « reward » advantages, go to your online Safar Flyer account and fill in your request at the online form « Reward request ». For more autonomy, Safar Flyer offers you the opportunity to buy your award ticket online with your miles. Airport taxes are payable by credit card. -
How can a Safar Flyer member collect miles on the oneworld loyalty program?
There is no oneworld loyalty program. The Safar Flyer member continues to keep the Safar Flyer miles on his or her frequent flyer account, even on oneworld flights. All he has to do is present his Safar Flyer account number (9 digits) when buying the plane tickets. -
What is the difference between Award Miles and Status Miles?
Award Miles can be converted into many advantages: Award tickets, extra luggage allowance, upgrade awards in Business class, etc. Status Miles allow you to upgrade to a higher status: from Blue to Silver to Gold. They are cumulated during a calendar year exclusively on Royal Air Maroc flights. -
Does the currency (Safar Flyer miles) change after integration?
Each loyalty program continues to keep its own rules, its own scale and its own currency (miles for AT, Avios for IB...) -
How to book my award ticket with a Safar Flyer partner?
To book an award ticket with our airline partners, make your reservation through an agency or via the Royal Air Maroc call center. Log into your online account to complete the award ticket application form and pay the airport taxes at the Royal Air Maroc agency or via the call center upon receipt by email of the confirmation of your Safar Flyer award ticket -

Why my online award ticket request was denied?
For any new Safar Flyer member, the first online bonus ticket must be under the name of the account holder. For new Safar Family accounts, the 1st award ticket requested must be under the name of one of the members of the account. -
What are the available rewards?
You can use your miles in exchange for award tickets, excess luggage allowance, business class upgrade bonus, fee change award (for change of paid tickets), UM (unaccompanied minors), etc. You also have the opportunity to redeem your miles for benefits offered by our airline and non-airline partners. Does the Silver member continue to benefit from an additional luggage allowance of 23KG?
Yes, a Silver member benefits from an additional 23 kg baggage allowance, but this applies only to Royal Air Maroc operated flights (excluding onward oneworld flights). -
I have a Safar Flyer Blue card. How do I progress to the Silver level, the Gold one, and then Platinum?
The progression to the Silver and Gold levels depends on your miles or flight status * you accumulate in a calendar year (January 1 to December 31). You just have to reach 20,000 Miles or 15 flights Status * to obtain a Silver level and 35,000 Miles or 30 flights Status * for the Gold level,and 75,000 Miles or 75 Status flights * for the Platinum level. * Can be accumulated on Royal Air Maroc flights and oneworld partner flights. -
What are the qualification thresholds for a Safar Flyer member depending on the status of Safar Flyer Silver, Gold or Platinum card within oneworld?
In order to benefit from the Silver, Gold and Platinum status, the member must accumulate Status miles or Status flights, over the calendar year preceding the expiry date of his Safar Flyer card -

Can a single-parent family benefit from the Safar Family program?
Yes, any single-parent family with at least one child between 2 and 26 years old can benefit from the program. -
Is the number of members limited by family?
Yes, you can register from 2 to 12 members of your family: grandparents, parents and children from 2 to 26 years old.
