Airport Assistance

Do you need assistance? Please don't hesitate to let us know: Royal Air Maroc provides assistance for the following situations:

-Transportation from one boarding gate to another when connecting to/from a flight to/from the United States *. If two different airlines are involved, the operating carrier of the first flight is generally responsible for the transfer.
-Assistance from the terminal entrance to the boarding gate, or from the boarding gate to the terminal entrance, including access to shops, the baggage claim area, and immigration services.
-If you are traveling with an animal (dog), Royal Air Maroc will escort you to a relief area if necessary.
-Unable to carry your baggage (carry-on or checked) to the boarding gate? Royal Air Maroc will take care of your baggage.

Seating Assignment (Seating Accommodation Policy)

To enable us to offer you seats suited to your needs, please identify yourself to our staff (at booking and/or check-in):

- If you require an aisle chair (and transfer cannot be easily made via a fixed aisle armrest), you will be assigned a seat with movable armrest(s).
- If you are traveling with a safety assistant or personal care assistant, Royal Air Maroc will assign you adjacent seats.
- Are you visually impaired and traveling with an assistant (for reading, etc.)? Royal Air Maroc will assign you adjacent seats.
- Are you hearing-impaired and traveling with an interpreter to assist you? Royal Air Maroc will assign you adjacent seats.
- Are you traveling with a service dog? Royal Air Maroc will assign you, upon request, a bulkhead seat (a fixed seat adjacent to cabin dividers).
- Is your leg cast or immobilized? Royal Air Maroc will assign you an appropriate seat with sufficient legroom, on the appropriate side.

Royal Air Maroc will make every effort to assign you the seat best suited to your needs. Safety regulations prevent us from assigning you a seat in the emergency exit rows

Baggage

In addition to your standard baggage allowance, you may carry the following items:

1- Wheelchair, electric wheelchair battery, or any other orthotic device.

2- In the cabin:
a. Item required for a passenger with reduced mobility.
b. POC (Portable Oxygen Concentrator) for respiratory needs.
c. Prosthesis.

For identification and prompt return of your baggage, a special "Priority Baggage" tag will be affixed to all your baggage, including your wheelchair.

Handling of Your Wheelchair (or Other Personal Mobility Items/Devices)

Traveling with a wheelchair or other personal mobility devices? Please check in one hour before the standard counter opening time.

- In the event that you do not check in one hour prior to the flight, Royal Air Maroc will make every effort to accept you, without delaying the flight.
- If a wheelchair or any other mobility item/device cannot be stowed in the cabin due to safety/security reasons or lack of space, Royal Air Maroc personnel will stow the item in the hold.
- If you have a wheelchair using wet-cell batteries (non-spillable), you must provide a packaging box for the batteries at check-in, along with the tools required to disconnect and connect the batteries.

These items will be handled with priority over all other items. However, they must comply with accepted loading standards and requirements.

- Requiring you to wear a special badge or identification.
- Requiring you to occupy a specific seat on board.

Do you have reduced mobility? Royal Air Maroc will not impose restrictions that would not apply to other passengers, such as:
